Plumbing Occupational Licence.Licence.QBCC - Fire Protection

• Applicant’s name should be displayed on the evidence and should match the applicant’s name that is registered in the system

• QBCC Occupational Licence must be uploaded

• Either restricted or unrestricted is acceptable

• Fire Protection to be listed

• Queensland Building and Construction Commission logo must be present

• Issue Date: Not required

• Expiry date = As shown on the licence

Fire Protection Maintenance.Certificate II.Fire Protection

• Applicant’s name should be displayed on the evidence and should match the applicant’s name that is registered in the system (However shortened versions of names such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher' is accepted.

• Recognised Training Institution’s name to be displayed on document.

• Evidence will show completion of Certificate II Fire Protection Inspection Testing

• Evidence must be issued by RTO

Please Note: If QBCC licence related to Fire is uploaded this is to be accepted as the higher qualification 

• The date of completion on the evidence should be recorded as the Issue Date in Pegasus

• Expiry date = none

Expiry only required if QBCC licence is uploaded 

Fire Protection Maintenance.Certificate III.Fire Protection

• Applicant’s name should be displayed on the evidence and should match the applicant’s name that is registered in the system (However shortened versions of names such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher' is accepted.

• Recognised Training Institution’s name to be displayed on document.

• Evidence will show completion of Certificate III Fire Protection Inspection Testing

• Evidence must be issued by RTO

Please Note: If QBCC licence related to Fire is uploaded this is to be accepted as the higher qualification 

• For Rio Tinto Bell Bay roles - the Cert III is not a requirement for Tasmania. Please accept:

  • Trade Certificate in Sprinkler Fitting or equivalent

  • Permit to Install, Maintain and Repair Fire Protection Equipment

  • Inspect, Test and Maintain Fire Extinguishers

  • Capture the Issue Date

• The date of completion on the evidence should be recorded as the Issue Date in Pegasus

• Expiry date = none

Expiry only required if QBCC licence is uploaded 

Fire Protection Maintenance.Licence.QBCC Fire Occupational - Electrical install & maintain or inspect and test

• Applicant’s name should be displayed on the evidence and should match the applicants name that is registered in the system (However shortened versions of names such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher' is accepted.

• QBCC Fire Occupational Licence – Electrical install & maintain or Electrical inspect & test must be uploaded; however, superseded or equivalent QBCC licence types are accepted where the licence remains valid, unexpired, and authorises an equivalent scope of work to Electrical install & maintain or Electrical inspect & test

• Queensland Building and Construction Commission logo must be present

• Issue Date: Not required

• Expiry date = As shown on the licence

• Applicant’s name should be displayed on the evidence and should match the applicants name that is registered in the system (However shortened versions of names such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher' is accepted.

• QBCC Fire Occupational Licence – Special Hazard install & maintain must be uploaded; however, superseded or equivalent QBCC licence types are accepted where the licence remains valid, unexpired, and authorises an equivalent scope of work to Special Hazard Install & Maintain

• Queensland Building and Construction Commission logo must be present

• Issue Date: Not required

• Expiry date = As shown on the licence

Fire Protection Maintenance.Licence.QBCC - Fire Water-based

• Applicant’s name should be displayed on the evidence and should match the applicants name that is registered in the system

• QBCC Fire Occupational Licence – Water-based install & maintain must be uploaded; however, superseded or equivalent QBCC licence types are accepted where the licence remains valid, unexpired, and authorises an equivalent scope of work to Water-based install & maintain

• Queensland Building and Construction Commission logo must be present

• Issue Date: Not required

• Expiry date = As shown on the licence

Fire Protection Maintenance.Licence.QBCC - Fire - Portables OR Passive

• Applicant’s name should be displayed on the evidence and should match the applicants name that is registered in the system

• QBCC Fire Occupational Licence – Portables OR Passive must be uploaded; however, superseded or equivalent QBCC licence types are accepted where the licence remains valid, unexpired, and authorises an equivalent scope of work to Water-based install & maintain

• Queensland Building and Construction Commission logo must be present

• Issue Date: Not required

• Expiry date = As shown on the licence
