  • Deemed the most appropriate respiratory protection as per risk assessment (i.e. JHA or Level 2 RA)

PAPR must be approved for use on site as per Respiratory Protection HSE Standard

Expiry date calculations =

Yellow Medical cards expire 6 months from issue date UNLESS an earlier spirometry review is mentioned in the conditions.
Face-Fit Tests expire 2 years from the test date.

The expiration date to be recorded against the competency is whichever of the two expiration dates occurs first.

If the spirometry consent form is submitted and contains approval, the expiry date is extended from 6 months to 12 months from date of issue

Rio Tinto Weipa Medical Business Rules have Changed, Please Review

 

 

Medical.Certificate.RTW Respiratory Screening (RSHQ)

Accepted forms of evidence to be completed by Supplier Administrator

  • Supplier must not upload any medical documentation, results, or images into Pegasus.

  • Supplier must send their RSHQ Health Screening Surveillance report directly to the Rio Tinto Weipa OH Team via email – rtaweipa.occupationalhealthcentre@riotinto.com.

  • Supplier must upload only the acknowledgment placeholder confirming RSHQ Respiratory Screening report has been forwarded.

  • All medical information is handled only by the OH Team and is not stored in Pegasus.

  • Verification is based solely on the placeholder and issue date provided by the Supplier Administrator.


If the above is not available:

  • The Pegasus Workforce Temporary Placeholder will allow Weipa Site Induction and Role to be submitted and training released

  • Temporary placeholders will be rejected. Kindly provide the appropriate evidence once it becomes available.
