Safety.Govt Licence/Authority.Maritime Security MSIC Card
  • Applicants name on the licence must match name in the system (however shortened versions of first names such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher' are accepted)
  • The required evidence will be a Maritime Security MSIC Card
  • Only the front side needs to be included in the upload
  • Record of completion for RTAY Materials Handling Area Induction is accepted for this requirement
  • Issue Date: Not Required
  • Expiry Date: As displayed on the licence (if shown)

If the expiry has not been shown on card: the supplier-input expiry should be accepted as the expiry date

NOTE: The licence will only show a month and year. Use the last date of the month as the expiry date.

Example: Aug 2022 on card. Input 31-Aug-2022 as the expiry date.

Security.Licence.Guard

  • Applicants name on the licence must match name in the system (however shortened versions of first names such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher' are accepted)
  • The required evidence will be a Security licence issued by an Australian state Government Authority such as QLD Government.
  • Must be class 1 if QLD licence 
  • Tasmanian licence will state Employee Licence with reference to Security Guard -Only last name to match 
  • Only the front side needs to be included in the upload
  • Issue Date: Not Required
  • Expiry Date: As displayed on the licence

Shortened versions of first names are accepted, such as:
"Chris" instead of "Christopher"
"Wil" instead of "William"

Shortened versions of last names are accepted, such as:
"Herrera" instead of "Herrera Trujillo"
"Mohd" instead of "Raza Hasan Mohd"

  • The following evidence can be accepted:

    • RTAY Recognition of Prior Competency

    • Rio Tinto Record of Completion

    • Theory Assessment
      All assessment pages within upload
      Matching competency name and code (if with checkbox, this should be completed)
      Applicant's signature and signed date
      Assessor's complete name, signature, and date
      Must show that the person is competent and authorised to operate

NOTE:

  • Record of completion for RTAY Materials Handling Area Induction is accepted for this requirement

  • The learning and development section of the form does not need to be completed

  • 'RTAY Materials Handling Area Induction' Record of Completion certificate is acceptable evidence

Issue date = If a certificate has been provided, use the course completion date as issue date. If Theory Assessment, use the assessor's signature date.

Expiry date = 2 years from issue date
