10 Year Major Inspection Certification

Required for any plant 10 years or older
Inspection record to be stored with plant item
Plant details to be displayed on evidence (Type and Model)
Must be completed by a competent person:
- Professional engineer
- NDT technician
- Qualified tradesman
Date of inspection must be at least 10 years from the date the plant was first commissioned/registered/re-registered (whichever was first)
No non-compliances
Cranes not to be older than 20 years

Issue Date = As listed on the recertification
Expiry Date = 10 years from recertification date

Annual Maintenance Inspection

Inspection record to be stored with plant item
Plant details to be displayed on evidence (Type and Model)
Must be completed by a competent person:
- Professional engineer
- NDT technician
- Qualified tradesman
Date of inspection must be within the last 12 months

Issue Date = As listed on the report
Expiry Date = 1 year from issue date

Plant Inspection Forms (Plant & Vehicle Site Acceptance)

Inspection Form (Plant & Vehicle Site Acceptance) to be completed and signed
Plant details to be displayed on evidence (Type and Model)
Must be completed by a competent person, e.g: Qualified tradesman/technician
No non-compliances
Inspection record to be stored with plant item
Failure to meet a mandatory requirements will result in your plant application being rejected
