The required evidence will be one of the following:

    • Certificate or competency card issued from an EWRB (Electrical Workers Registration board) approved training provider showing completion of ‘Electrical Safety & Testing’ or ‘Electrical Competency course’ or ‘EWRB Distribution Competency Programme’ or ‘EWRB Transmission Competency Programme’. Providers of this course do not have to be NZQA registered.

    • Certificate or competency card issued from an EWRB (Electrical Workers Registration board) approved training provider showing completion of High Voltage (HV) Safety Training course. Providers of this course do not have to be NZQA registered.

  • Where assessor / trainer signature section is shown on the evidence, this must be completed

  • Date of training completion or date of unit standard achieved must be visible

  • Applicant’s name should be displayed on the evidence and should match the applicant’s name that is registered in Workforce Management (However shortened versions of names such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher' is accepted).

  • NZQA Record of Achievement OR certificate or competency card issued from a NZQA accredited training organisation showing the completion of the following unit standards either 29465 OR 30658 AND either 15852 OR 30657

  • Certificate or competency card issued from an EWRB (Electrical Workers Registration board) approved training provider showing completion of Low Voltage (LV) Safety Training course. Providers of this course do not have to be NZQA registered.

  • Where assessor / trainer signature section is shown on the evidence, this must be completed

  • Date of training completion or date of unit standard achieved must be visible

  • Applicant’s name should be displayed on the evidence and should match the applicant’s name that is registered in Workforce Management (However shortened versions of names such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher' is accepted).
