Electrical.Statement of Attainment.EEHA Installation, Maintenance and Inspection

• Evidence can be provided if the worker has previously completed the training

• Evidence must show correct full name (Shortened versions such as 'Chris' for Christopher can be accepted)

• Evidence must show completion date

• RTO Name, National Provider Code/ RTO number & Logo to be displayed on evidence

• Issue date must be listed on document

• Certificate number must also be listed on document

• Certificate or card is accepted

• Certificate or card must be one of the two examples provided:

  • Must be a Statement of Attainment that list the following Units of Competency (UoC):

    • UEEHA0004 Enter a classified hazardous area to undertake work related to electrical equipment

    • UEEHA0020 Conduct detailed inspection of electrical installations for hazardous areas

    • UEEHA0022 Determine the explosion-protection requirements to meet a specified classified hazardous area

    • UEEHA0025 Install explosion-protected equipment and associated apparatus and wiring systems

    • UEEHA0026 Maintain equipment associated with hazardous areas

    • UEEHA0029 Plan electrical installations for hazardous areas or UEEHA0027 Manage continuous supervision inspection of electrical installations for hazardous areas

    • UEEHA0038 Conduct visual and close inspection of electrical installations for hazardous areas

  • Can also accept Certificate IV in Hazardous areas- Electrical and must include the following UoC as minimum requirements:

    • UEEHA0004 Enter a classified hazardous area to undertake work related to electrical equipment

    • UEEHA0020 Conduct detailed inspection of electrical installations for hazardous areas

    • UEEHA0022 Determine the explosion-protection requirements to meet a specified classified hazardous area

    • UEEHA0025 Install explosion-protected equipment and associated apparatus and wiring systems

    • UEEHA0026 Maintain equipment associated with hazardous areas

    • UEEHA0029 Plan electrical installations for hazardous areas

    • UEEHA0038 Conduct visual and close inspection of electrical installations for hazardous areas

    • UEECD0010 Compile and produce an energy sector detailed report

    • UEECD0024 Implement and monitor energy sector WHS policies and procedures.

    • UEECD0027 Participate in development and follow a personal competency development plan

    • UEEE0015 Implement and monitor energy sector environmental and sustainable policies and procedures.

• Licence accepted from all Australian States.

• Must be current

• Must list all or any one of the following restricted works:

  • Refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment, any one or all the below restrictions:

    • Occupational Health and Safety

    • Disconnect and reconnect fixed wired equipment

    • Locate and rectify faults in 250v

    • Locate and rectify faults in 1000v

    • Attach flexible cord and plug for 250v

    • Attach flexible cord and plug for 1000v

  • Instrumentation/process control devices

  • Composite equipment limited to industrial equipment

  • Cathodic protection equipment excluding hazardous areas

  • Electronic equipment limited to 250VAC (Plug-in only)

Expiry Date:  5 years from date of issue/refresh.
