 AS/NZ 4801

AS/NZ 4801
  • Business Name on Certification to match the organisation registered. If it doesn't match, government certified evidence must be provided to link the ABN or business names together. This is ideally a letter or download from ABR showing the linkage.
  • Site location registered on the certificate to match registered business address.
  • Scope of certification to match selected work categories in step 5 of the business registration process
  • Must be certificated AS/NZS 4801
  • JAS-ANZ stamp to be present on 4801 - If a certificate is supplied that is a combined 4801 and 18001 there will be NO JAS-ANZ stamp present. This is acceptable.

From March 12, 2018: ISO 45001 will start to be issued in lieu of OHSAS 18001 

From September 30, 2021: OHSAS 18001 will no longer be accepted - ISO 45001 MUST be supplied

  • Black and white or colour is acceptable

- Will not accept third party or unofficial certificates with declarations that contractors are compliant to standard

45001 with “equivalent” stamp certification (e.g. RAB for USA, UKAS for UK etc) to be escalated to Ausgrid Contract Delivery - Pegasus administrators to click here for internal procedure on escalation process 
45001 without stamp certification not accepted

  • Expiry Date- Is expiry of the certification or the recertification before dates. Should be 3 years from the date of certification

  • Must show permission for Low Flying
  • Must be issued by Australian Government Civil Aviation Safety Authority
