The Client Portal is a UI facing replacement of ONSITE 2 – overall it is about improving our product for our clients. This is a general software / product enhancement to keep up to date with new technologies and improve the system performance.
The Client Portal gives us the opportunity to do things better; things like make processes more efficient for our client users (e.g. bulk add, bulk remove). It also creates technical opportunities to integrate with microservices easily which overall supports the performance of the system.
Our product needs to continually evolve and giving our client users a new and improved platform that is more intuitive is something we will always be doing – that’s part of software development.
There is no specific reason as to why we have done what we have done – it is simply part of the continual improvement of our product.
