Rail.Qualified.MTM – Train Track Safety Awareness or SARC (GROUP):
  • Applicants name to be displayed on the document
  • Applicant name on document must match the cardholders registered name (However shortened versions such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher' will be accepted

Please upload, to the relevant competency, a certificate or card issued by one of MTM’s authorised Registered Training Organisation (RTO) providers:

  • Metro Academy
  • Centre for Excellence in Rail Training (CERT)
  • John Holland Group
  • The Instruction Company
  • Skilled Rail Services

Relevant competencies are:

  • Track Safety Awareness MTM Level 1
  • TLIF2080A Safely access the rail corridor
  • TLIF2080B Safely access the rail corridor
  • TLIF2080C Safely access the rail corridor
  • MTM - Train Track Safety Awareness
  • A Metro Track Protection card cannot be used for any grouped competency.

The full TTSA training course provided by authorised RTO will provide participants:

  • Statement of Attainment for TLIF2080, and
  • Certificate for MTM Safely and Environmental Induction

Where someone already has a TLIF2080 issued by any RTO, applicants will need to complete the Metro Contractor Safety Induction Recertification. The course will provide participants certificates for:

  • Metro Contractor Safety Induction recertification
  • MTM Safely and Environmental Induction
  • Issue date = date of completion
  • Expiry date = none
 
Rail.Induction.Track Safety Awareness MTM Level 1

A certificate or card issued by one of MTM’s authorised Registered Training Organisation (RTO) providers is require:

  • Metro Academy
  • Centre for Excellence in Rail Training (CERT)
  • John Holland Group
  • The Instruction Company
  • Skilled Rail Services

  • Issue date = date of completion
  • Expiry date = none

 

NOTE: MTM Train Track Safety Awareness is the same as Track Safety Awareness MTM Level 1

Track Safety Awareness or Equivalent
  • Statement of Attainment showing Track Safety Awareness / Safely Access the Rail Corridor (TLIF2080A, B or C) to be uploaded. We can also accept RISI/ NTSA /TSA/ Train Track Safety Awareness (Victoria) - Statement of Attainment (preferred) or Card (both sides scanned) Issued by a registered training organisation.
  • Please note only certain versions of the Railcorp RISI card are accepted.
  • Note: RailCorp Rail Safety Gold Card will not be accepted. Original Statement of Attainment required
  • Issue date = date of completion
  • Expiry date = none

Rail.Certificate of Achievement.QR – Safely Access the Rail Corridor
  • QR – Safely Access the Rail Corridor is specific training required by Queensland Rail and is conducted by approved registered training organisations.
  • This competency has a 3 year expiry.
  • Completion of this competency requires completion of:
  • TLIF2080 Safely access the rail corridor
  • TLIW2001 Operate under track protection rules 
  • Please upload a certificate of achievement from one of Queensland Rails approved training organisations

  • CERT Certificate of Achievement – showing: QR3.2 Safely access the rail corridor
  • CERT - QRSGAP Queensland Rail's SARC Gap Assessment Program
  • Metro Academy - Statement of Attendance – showing: QR129103 Safely Access the Rail Corridor Course
  • Queensland Rail - Certificate of Achievement – showing: Safely Access the Rail Corridor (SARC)
  • John Holland - Rail Track Safety Awareness Card – showing: Rail Track Safety Awareness
  • John Holland - Certificate of Attendance – showing: Queensland Rail’s SARC

  • Where a gap assessment is completed only the following training organisations are authorised to issue:
  • Centre of Excellence in Rail Training (CERT)

Note: A CERT Trackside Protection card cannot be accepted.

  • Issue date = date of completion
  • Expiry date = 3 years from the date of completion

TFNSW Rail.Induction.RISI Card

Evidence accepted for this competency are:

  • TfNSW issued RISI or Gold Card are accepted
  • Letter showing: Receipt Acknowledgement with RISI Card inset
  • Cards issued by approved RTOs showing Rail Industry Safety Induction
  • Issue date = date of completion shown on card
  • Expiry date = none (despite the card showing an expiration date)

Rail.Statement of Attainment.RISI - Statement of Attainment



  • Applicants name must be displayed on the document
  • Applicants name on document must match cardholders registered name (However shortened versions such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher' can be accepted)
  • Statement of attainment must list 'Safely access the rail corridor' and the associated unit of competency code (TLIF2080 (With A,B or C at the end also accepted)
  • All Statements of Attainment from approved registered training organisations (Issued from a particular date) must have the statement “This Statement of Attainment is issued on the basis of the training material provided in accordance with the Training Material licenced by TfNSW.” on the certificate.
    **The Statement of Attainment is required to have the TfNSW specific statement written on the certificate from the 1 January 2016.

  • Please note: Safeworking roles or Higher qualifications are not accepted for this competency (ie Certificate of achievement train track safety awareness, Lookout, Handsignaller,Track Force Protection Coordinator 3.1,Track Force Protection Coordinator 3.2, Track Force Protection Coordinator 3.3)
