Rail.Certificate of Achievement.QR – Safely Access the Rail Corridor
  • QR – Safely Access the Rail Corridor is specific training required by Queensland Rail and is conducted by approved registered training organisations.
  • This competency has a 3 year expiry.
  • Completion of this competency requires completion of:
  • TLIF2080 Safely access the rail corridor
  • TLIW2001 Operate under track protection rules 
  • A list of training organisations can be found at: https://www.queenslandrail.com.au/forbusiness/contractors
  • Please upload a certificate of achievement from one of Queensland Rails approved training organisations
  • CERT Certificate of Achievement – showing: QR3.2 Safely access the rail corridor
  • CERT - QRSGAP Queensland Rail's SARC Gap Assessment Program
  • Metro Academy - Statement of Attendance – showing: QR129103 Safely Access the Rail Corridor Course
  • Queensland Rail - Certificate of Achievement – showing: Safely Access the Rail Corridor (SARC)
  • John Holland - Rail Track Safety Awareness Card – showing: Rail Track Safety Awareness
  • John Holland - Certificate of Attendance – showing: Queensland Rail’s SARC
  • Expiry date is to be set for 3 year from date of certificate being attained.
  • Where a gap assessment is completed only the following training organisations are authorised to issue:
  • Centre of Excellence in Rail Training (CERT)

MTM Rail.Qualified.MTM – Train Track Safety Awareness or SARC (GROUP):

Please upload, to the relevant competency, a certificate or card issued by one of MTM’s authorised Registered Training Organisation (RTO) providers:

  • Metro Academy
  • Centre for Excellence in Rail Training (CERT)
  • John Holland Group
  • The Instruction Company
  • Skilled Rail Services

Relevant competencies are:

  • Track Safety Awareness MTM Level 1
  • TLIF2080A Safely access the rail corridor
  • TLIF2080B Safely access the rail corridor
  • TLIF2080C Safely access the rail corridor
  • MTM - Train Track Safety Awareness
  • A Metro Track Protection card cannot be used for any grouped competency.
  • An issue date needs to be added with No expiry date.
  • If you do not have your certificate, you will need to go back to your provider and request it.

The full TTSA training course provided by authorised RTO will provide participants:

  • Statement of Attainment for TLIF2080, and
  • Certificate for MTM Safely and Environmental Induction

Where someone already has a TLIF2080 issued by any RTO, applicants will need to complete the Metro Contractor Safety Induction Recertification. The course will provide participants certificates for:

  • Metro Contractor Safety Induction recertification
  • MTM Safely and Environmental Induction
 
MTM Rail.Induction.Track Safety Awareness MTM Level 1

A certificate or card issued by one of MTM’s authorised Registered Training Organisation (RTO) providers is require:

  • Metro Academy
  • Centre for Excellence in Rail Training (CERT)
  • John Holland Group
  • The Instruction Company
  • Skilled Rail Services
  • Please upload a certificate or card showing: Track Safety Awareness MTM Level 1
  • An issue date needs to be added with No expiry date.
NOTE: MTM Train Track Safety Awareness is the same as Track Safety Awareness MTM Level 1
 
MTMSafety.Qualified.MTM - Train Track Safety Awareness

A certificate or card issued by one of MTM’s authorised Registered Training Organisation (RTO) providers is required:

  • Metro Academy
  • Centre for Excellence in Rail Training (CERT)
  • John Holland Group
  • The Instruction Company
  • Skilled Rail Services
  • Please upload a certificate or card showing: Train Track Safety Awareness
  • An issue date needs to be added with No expiry date.
NOTE: MTM - Train Track Safety Awareness is the same as Track Safety Awareness MTM Level 1

TFNSW Rail.Induction.RISI Card

Evidence accepted for this competency are:

  • TfNSW issued RISI or Gold Card are accepted
  • Letter showing: Receipt Acknowledgement with RISI Card inset
  • Cards issued by approved RTOs showing Rail Industry Safety Induction
  • Expired cards can be accepted
  • No expiry date required
 
TFNSW Rail.Induction.TfNSW – RISI
  • TfNSW from Learning Management System (LMS) (Employees ONLY)
  • Document – showing: screenshot of Rail Safety Worker Card and LMS record
  • Expiry date is not required
 
TFNSW Rail.Statement of Attainment.RISI - Statement of Attainment
  • All Statements of Attainment from approved registered training organisations must have the statement “This Statement of Attainment is issued on the basis of the training material provided in accordance with the Training Material licenced by TfNSW.” on the certificate.
  • A list of approved training organisations can be found at www.railsafe.org.au.

  • Expiry date is not required
  • Southern Cross Rail Training – cannot accept a qualification issued between 30/05/2014 and 20/1/2016
 
TFNSW Rail.Certificate of Achievement.RISI Gap Assessment
  • This competency is for people who have already received a Statement of Attainment for TLIF2080 Safely Access the Rail Corridor, from a non-approved RTO.
  • A list of approved training organisations can be found at www.railsafe.org.au.
  • Please upload a RISI gap assessment (certificate of completion) from an approved registered training organisation WITH a copy of your original Statement of Attainment showing TLIF2080 is required.
