 Rail.Induction.Aurizon General Contractor Induction

    • Aurizon General Contractor Induction card - There is no requirement for the card to be signed for acceptance. Induction is conducted online and can be found at www.aurizon.com.au
    • Attendees Qualification report can also be accepted
    • Certificate of Completion showing Aurizon General Contractor Induction
  • Black and white or colour copy of this document is accepted

Generic.Course.Aurizon - Code of Conduct

  • Applicants name must match what is shown in Onsite (However shortened versions of names are accepted EG Chris for Christopher)
  • Must be an Aurizon issued Certificate of Completion of showing Aurizon - Code of Conduct
  • Must be current
  • Issue date = As shown on the certificate
  • Expiry date = As shown on the certificate

Site.Induction.Spill kit MGMT Training
  • Applicants name must match what is shown in Onsite (However shortened versions of names are accepted EG Chris for Christopher)
  • Must be an Aurizon issued Certificate of Completion showing Spill Kit Management
  • Must be current
  • Issue date = As shown on the certificate
  • Expiry date = As shown on the certificate

  • Must be an Aurizon issued Certificate of Completion showing Three Step Protection
  • Must be current
  • Issue date = As shown on the certificate
  • Expiry date = As shown on the certificate

Aurizon Cyber Security (online)      


  • Applicants name to be shown
  • Applicants name must match what is shown in Onsite (However shortened versions of names are accepted EG Chris for Christopher)
  • An Aurizon certificate showing the completion of Aurizon Cyber Security is required for this competency.
  • Aurizon LMS evidence or transcript (highlighting the relevant qualification) is also acceptable 
  • The competency expires every 36 months.
  • Issue date = Date of course completion
  • Expiry date = Date which is calculated to be 3 year from issue date

Aurizon Road Safety (online)      


  • Applicants name to be shown
  • Applicants name must match what is shown in Onsite (However shortened versions of names are accepted EG Chris for Christopher)
  • An Aurizon certificate showing the completion of Aurizon Road Safety is required for this competency.
  • Aurizon LMS evidence or transcript (highlighting the relevant qualification) is also acceptable 
  • The competency expires every 24 months.
  • Issue date = Date of course completion
  • Expiry date = Date which is calculated to be 2 year from issue date

Currency of Industry Competency


  • Applicants name to be shown
  • Applicants name must match what is shown in Onsite (However shortened versions of names are accepted EG Chris for Christopher)
  • Relevant evidence showing the Traction qualification has been achieved (e.g. verified log book, roster sheets, Aurizon VOC, etc.)
  • Aurizon LMS evidence or transcript (highlighting the relevant qualification) is also acceptable 
  • The competency expires every 36 months.
  • Issue date = Date of course completion
  • Expiry date = Date which is calculated to be 3 year from issue date (Aurizon VOC can be used as evidence

Drager / SIGMA Breathers apparatus


  • Applicants name to be shown
  • Applicants name must match what is shown in Onsite (However shortened versions of names are accepted EG Chris for Christopher)
  • Relevant evidence showing the Drager / SIGMA Breathers apparatus qualification has been achieved (e.g. certificate, Aurizon VOC, etc.)
  • Aurizon LMS evidence or transcript (highlighting the relevant qualification) is also acceptable 
  • The competency expires every 36 months.
  • Issue date = Date of course completion
  • Expiry date = Date which is calculated to be 3 year from issue date

Aurizon - Depot Specific Route Competence


  • Applicants name to be shown
  • Applicants name must match what is shown in Onsite (However shortened versions of names are accepted EG Chris for Christopher)
  • Acceptable forms of evidence:
    • Relevant data showing the route has been travelled (e.g. verified log book, roster sheets, Aurizon VOC, etc.)
    • Aurizon LMS evidence or transcript (highlighting the relevant qualification)
    • Screenshots from the Aurizon myLearning Power Bi titled Driver Proficiency
  • The competency expires every 12 months.
  • Issue date = Date route travelled
  • Expiry date = Date which is calculated to be 1 year from last route travelled

Aurizon - Depot Specific Safeworking System


  • Applicants name to be shown
  • Applicants name must match what is shown in Onsite (However shortened versions of names are accepted EG Chris for Christopher)
  • Relevant data showing the Safeworking qualification has been achieved 
  • Aurizon LMS evidence or transcript (highlighting the relevant qualification) is also acceptable 
  • The competency must be reassessed every 36 months.
  • Issue date = Date qualification achieved / reaccredited
  • Expiry date = Date which is calculated to be 3 year from last accreditation (Aurizon VOC can be used as evidence)

Aurizon - Depot Specific Traction


  • Applicants name to be shown
  • Applicants name must match what is shown in Onsite (However shortened versions of names are accepted EG Chris for Christopher)
  • Relevant evidence showing the Traction qualification has been achieved (e.g. verified log book, roster sheets, Aurizon VOC, etc.)
  • Aurizon LMS evidence or transcript (highlighting the relevant qualification) is also acceptable 
  • The competency must be reassessed every 36 months..
  • Issue date = Date form of traction achieved / reaccredited
  • Expiry date = Date which is calculated to be 1 year from last accreditation

Aurizon Setting and Traversing on Manual Points (Online)
  • Applicants name on the document must match the name in the system (however shortened versions such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher' are acceptable)
  • Accepted form of evidence will be an Aurizon Certificate of Completion
  • Must show Aurizon Setting and Traversing as having been completed
  • Black and white or colour acceptable
  • Must be clearly scanned and legible
  • Issue date = As shown on the certificate
  • Expiry date = As shown on the certificate

Macalister Coal Siding (Local induction)
  • Applicants name on the document must match the name in the system (however shortened versions such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher' are acceptable)
  • Accepted form of evidence will be Coal Sliding Familiarisation Form
  • Must be completed
  • Must show that the applicant is competent
  • Must be signed and dated by the assessor

    • Black and white or colour copy of this document is accepted
    • Evidence is to be signed where image of card uploaded
    • 2 year duration

Rail.Induction.Aurizon Rail Corridor Induction - Standard 1-2

Aurizon Network Rail Corridor Safety Standard (RCSS Upskilling v1.1 or v1.2) certificate

      • Applicant must have existing optional “Rail.Induction.Aurizon Rail Corridor Induction” competency uploaded with issue date prior to 30 April 2022.

Aurizon Rail Corridor Induction certificate

      • Issue date must be 30 April 2022 or greater
      • This competency must be issued by Aurizon for employees and contractors
      • Expiry Date is 2 years as shown on the Certificate.
  • Issue date = As shown on evidence
  • Expiry date = 2 years from issue date
