  • Applicants name shown on document must match the applicants registered name in Onsite
    (However shortened versions of first names such as 'Chris' for 'Christopher' OR ‘Dave’ for ‘John Dave’ are accepted.)
  • Recognised Training Institution name to be displayed on document
  • Accepted evidence types include:  
    • Copy of certificate / degree
    • Official transcript / Academic Record
    • USI Transcript (Certificate I – Diploma level)
    • Note: letters are not accepted in lieu of certificate / degree (unless submitted from Engineers Australia or Professionals Australia)
  • Completion date or issue date must be displayed
  • Document / Certificate Number must be recorded on certificate document for Certificate I – Diploma level qualifications
  • Note: Document / certificate number is preferred but not mandatory for Bachelors Degree / Associate Degree / Graduate Certificate / Masters / Doctoral qualifications
  • Qualification attained must be listed on the document and align to the nominated competency and associated level in Onsite
  • Black and white or colour copies of certification is accepted
  • Must be clear and legible

For overseas/international engineering specific qualifications to be accepted, they need to either be recognised under the:

OR

    • A letter from the Australian Institute of Engineers or Engineers Australia recognising the applicant’s qualification is also accepted, the letter MUST specify the relevant AQF level of qualification. Engineers Australia letter must state that it is a Migration Skills Assessment.
  • Date of completion to be recorded as issue date listed on certificate 
  • No expiry date is required to be recorded
