High Risk Work.Licence (Front and Back).Advanced Rigging (RA)

Accepted form[s] of evidence:

  • High Risk Work Licence - Both Sides of the licence (Front and Back) must be included within the uploaded file. Back of licence must be signed by the worker.
  • Digital copies of VIC HRWL are accepted. This can be validated at the below link:

Other accepted form[s] of evidence:

  • High risk licence renewal receipts can be accepted for a period of 4 weeks from the receipt date.

NOTE: This needs to be uploaded with proof of HRWL Class if card is lost/ stolen 

If the reciept is for a resissue of expired card the existing front and back of the expired card is to be uploaded with the reciept.

  • A letter from the issuing organisation may also be accepted as a temporary document for 4 weeks from the issue date on the letter - An Application Summary Is not accepted 
  • 'Notice of Assessment' can be accepted for a period of 60 days from the completion date

All forms of evidence must show:

  • Name on Licence which matches the workers registered name in the system
  • The relevant Class code is to be listed and matched to competency selection accordingly however the greater class code is accepted ie: RI  is greater than RB, RA is greater than RI 
  • That is has been issued by Worksafe or relevant Australian State Government Authority
    • All Australian States Acceptable
  • It is 'in date' and not expired
  • Black and white or colour copies are acceptable providing the document is legible














When licence is uploaded:

  • Issue Date = As shown on the licence

NOTE: Occasionally HRWL's will be uploaded with an issue date recorded that is a date in the future. This can be accepted by recording the expiry date only in the system with the knowledge that the 'forward date' on the HRWL is a result of continuation from a previous licence end date when renewal is complete

  • Expiry Date = As shown on the licence

When Renewal Receipt is uploaded:

  • Issue Date = Receipt Date
  • Expiry Date = 4 weeks from Issue/receipt date

When a Letter is uploaded:

  • Issue Date = Date on the letter
  • Expiry Date = 4 weeks from Issue/receipt date

When a Notice of Assessment is uploaded:

  • Issue Date = Date of assessment
  • Expiry Date = 60 Days from issue / date of assessment

  • First and last name must match applicant's name in Onsite

Shortened versions of first names are accepted, such as:
"Chris" instead of "Christopher"
"Wil" instead of "William"

Shortened versions of last names are accepted, such as:
"Herrera" instead of "Herrera Trujillo"
"Mohd" instead of "Raza Hasan Mohd"

  • The following evidence can be accepted:

    • RTAY Recognition of Prior Competency

    • Rio Tinto Record of Completion

    • Progress Report

    • Theory Assessment or Site Authorisation
      • All assessment pages within upload
      • Matching competency name and code (if with checkbox, this should be completed)
      • Current licence number and expiry date. Note that your HRWL must be in date to do the assessment, and the licence should be in date for the 2 year period
      • Applicant's signature and signed date
      • Assessor's complete name, signature, and date
      • Must show that the person is competent and authorised to operate

NOTE:

  • If Site Authorisation, the RCC Assessment or CTO Assessment section must be completed

  • If Theory Assessment, when RCC is completed, the authorised leader is required to verify with a signature that the applicant is authorised to operate

  • For assessments that have been completed onsite, the form can only be signed off by Aaron Froude 

  • The learning and development section of the form does not need to be completed
