There are THREE different forms of documentation which can be accepted for this competency


 When RTO issued Statement of Attainment is uploaded
  • Applicants name to be shown on the statement of attainment evidence
  • The competency must be indicated on the statement of attainment
  • Training must have been conducted by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
  • A statement of attainment or card showing matching statement of attainment unit of competency can be accepted in lieu of VOC assessment document for this competency upload if the Statement of attainment training was complete less than 3 years ago.
 When RTO issued VOC is uploaded
  • Applicants name to be displayed on the Verification of Competency (VOC) document.
  • The competency must be indicated on the Verification of Competency (VOC) as it is shown in this competency title – If there is a mismatch with regard to the competency naming used on the VOC compared to what is displayed as the competency title, seek site approval for the document.
  • Assessment must have been conducted by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)

NOTE: Temporary Verification of Competency (VOC) may be accepted for the time period of 3 months which allocates reasonable time to issue final documentation - This is to be entered as the expiry even in cases where Training Providers state a lesser amount of time of temporary validity on the document.

 When Subcontractor or Company Representative issued VOC is uploaded
  • Applicants name to be displayed on the Verification of Competency (VOC) document.
  • Must show current company name (or logo) that the applicant is listed under in the document
  • Any VOC that is assessed by the Subcontractor themselves or representative of the company will need to be authorised and approved by site prior to being uploaded. Site will audit, sign and date these VOCs and then the Subcontractor will upload this authorised copy.
  • Authorisation to include: 
  • Must be signed [site representative name/s]
  • Must be dated
  • Must state that it is approved by MPO Thiess or MPO Sedgman
  • May be in the form of a stamp or hand written. Either is acceptable.

  • Date of assessment to be recorded as Issue date within Onsite
  • 3 year expiration date form date of assessment to be calculated as expiry date and recorded within Onsite
