The competency expires

For Aurizon employees: the competency is either a statement of attainment or a training attendance sheet which can be issued by an internal or external assessor.

For Contractors: the competency is a statement of attainment which is issued by an external assessor.
NOTE: The newly issued Aurizon Protection Officer cards will eventually replace the statement of attainment and training attendance sheet for both employees and contractors

every 12 months.
