AS/NZS 4801 Compliance or OHSAS 18001 or ISO 45001


  • Insured Name must match company registered and NZBN needs to match. If it does not match, government certified evidence must be provided to link the NZBN and names together. This is ideally a letter showing the linkage;

We can accept ‘PTY LTD’ or ‘(Pty) Ltd’ in lieu of ‘Proprietary Limited’ when this is the only difference in the company name between what’s shown on company compliance paperwork verse what’s shown in onsite.

  • Must be certificated AS/NZS 4801 or ISO/OHSAS 18001
  • JAS-ANZ stamp to be present on 4801
  • If a certificate is supplied that is a combined 4801 and 18001 there will be NO JAS-ANZ stamp present which is acceptable.
  • OHSAS 18001 is International and therefore must be issued outside of New Zealand
    • From March 12, 2018: ISO 45001 will start to be issued in lieu of OHSAS 18001 
    • From September 30, 2021: OHSAS 18001 will no longer be accepted - ISO 45001 MUST be supplied


  • Black and white or colour is acceptable


  • Issue Date = Start of coverage date listed on policy
  • Expiry Date = Coverage end date listed on policy (If the policy is paid on a monthly
    basis the expiry will be set when the next payment is due)
  • Policy Number = as specified on the policy
  • Amount = not required



ISO 9001

ISO 14001
  • Business Name on Certification to match the organisation registered. If it doesn't match, government certified evidence must be provided to link the ABN or business names together. This is ideally a letter or download from ABR showing the linkage.
  • Duration as per document expiry dae
  • Black & White copy acceptable
  • Will not accept third party or unofficial certificates with declarations that contractors are compliant to standard
  • Issue and expiry date as per certification

Impac Prequal

  • Must be issued by Impac Prequal with tick displaying or IMPAC+ Prequal branding on the report
  • Must be the same business name/registered name used to register in Onsite 3, if different a linking document will need to be supplied
  • Has a valid date
  • Black and White Accepted
  • Issue Date = To be recorded as per document 
  • Expiry Date =To be recorded as per document
