Monthly Inspection
  • Inspection record to be stored with plant item
  • Plant details to be displayed on evidence (Type and Model)
  • Must be completed by a competent person:
    • Professional engineer
    • NDT technician
    • Qualified tradesman
  • Date of inspection must be at least 1 month from the previous monthly inspection
  • No non-compliances
  • Issue Date = Date of inspection
  • Expiry Date = 1 month from inspection date

Quarterly Inspection
  • Inspection record to be stored with plant item
  • Plant details to be displayed on evidence (Type and Model)
  • Must be completed by a competent person:
    • Professional engineer
    • NDT technician
    • Qualified tradesman
  • Date of inspection must be at least 3 months from the previous quarterly inspection
  • No non-compliances
  • Issue Date = Date of inspection
  • Expiry Date = 3 months from inspection date

Annual Inspection
  • Inspection record to be stored with plant item
  • Plant details to be displayed on evidence (Type and Model)
  • Must be completed by a competent person:
    • Professional engineer
    • NDT technician
    • Qualified tradesman
  • Date of inspection must be at least 1 year from the date the plant was first commissioned/registered/re-registered (whichever was first)
  • No non-compliances
  • Issue Date = Date of inspection
  • Expiry Date = 12 months from inspection date

6 Year Major Inspection
  • Inspection record to be stored with plant item
  • Plant details to be displayed on evidence (Type and Model)
  • Must be completed by a competent person:
    • Professional engineer
    • NDT technician
    • Qualified tradesman
  • Date of inspection must be at least 6 years from the date the plant was first commissioned/registered/re-registered (whichever was first)
  • No non-compliances
  • Issue Date = As listed on the recertification
  • Expiry Date = 6 years from recertification date

10 Year Major Inspection
  • Inspection record to be stored with plant item
  • Plant details to be displayed on evidence (Type and Model)
  • Must be completed by a competent person:
    • Professional engineer
    • NDT technician
    • Qualified tradesman
  • Date of inspection must be at least 10 years from the date the plant was first commissioned/registered/re-registered (whichever was first)
  • No non-compliances
  • Cranes not to be older than 20 years
  • Issue Date = As listed on the recertification
  • Expiry Date = 10 years from recertification date

Crane Safe Green Sticker Inspection
  • Crane Safe Sticker to be located on plant item
  • Plant details to be displayed on evidence (Type and Model)
  • Must be CraneSafe certificate
  • Owner name on certificate to match the company owning the plant item
  • Duration as per expiry on certificate
  • Black and white or colour (green) acceptable
  • Only front of certificate needs to be shown when certificate is uploaded.
  • Issue Date = As listed on the certificate
  • Expiry Date = As listed on the certificate

Pile Safe Green Sticker Inspection
  • Pile Safe Sticker to be located on plant item
  • Plant details to be displayed on evidence (Type and Model)
  • Must be Pile Safe certificate
  • Owner name on certificate to match the company owning the plant item
  • Black and white or colour acceptable
  • Only front of certificate needs to be shown when certificate is uploaded
  • Issue Date = As listed on the certificate
  • Expiry Date = As listed on the certificate

Maintenance Report
  • Maintenance report to be stored with the plant item
  • Plant details to be displayed on evidence (Type and Model)
  • Must list required maintenance intervals
  • Must list the plant's hours and/or kilometres
  • Must show the last three completed services
  • Report signed and dated by licenced mechanic or relevant qualification
  • Issue Date = As per date on report
  • Expiry Date = 12 months from issue date

Monthly Pipeline Thickness Report
  • Reports need to be stored with the pump
  • Must be recorded in a readable and understandable format that ties in with plant item
  • Single wall pipes to have thickness tests available
  • Twin wall pipes to have volumes recorded with upper limits detailed as they cannot be thickness tested
  • Issue Date = As per report
  • Expiry Date = None

Current Lifting Equipment Register
  • Lifting Equipment Register must be available for plant items performing lifting tasks
  • Plant details to be displayed on evidence (Type and Model)
  • Company issuing report must be accredited by either:
  • Company name on certificate to match the company owning the
  • Black and white or colour acceptable
  • Only front of certificate needs to be shown when certificate is uploaded
  • Issue Date = As per document
  • Expiry Date = 12 months from issue date

Lift/Tie Down Certification
  • Certification record to be stored with plant item
  • Asset details to be displayed on evidence (Type and Model)
  • Must be completed by a competent person:
    • Professional engineer
    • NDT technician
    • Qualified tradesman
  • Date of inspection at least 1 year from the date the asset was first commissioned/registered/re-registered (whichever was first)
  • Issue Date = As per certification
  • Expiry Date = 12 months from issue date

Load Charts
  • Load charts to be stored with plant item
  • Asset details to be displayed on evidence (Type and Model)
  • Must list lifting point locations and their rated capacity
  • If applicable, must list boom configuration and the maximum load that can be lifted for each lifting point and boom configuration
  • If applicable, must list stabiliser requirements
  • If applicable, must list deductions for attachments (e.g. a bucket or quick-hitch devices)
  • Issue Date = None
  • Expiry Date = None

Quick Hitch Compliance Documentation
  • Hitch certification details to be stored with plant item
  • Must be uploaded for excavators fitted with Quick Hitches
  • Plant details to be displayed on evidence (Type and Model)
  • Evidence needs to verify fully auto hitch
  • Issue Date = As per document
  • Expiry Date = None

Risk Assessment
  • Risk Assessment doesn’t need to be updated unless the plant has been modified for another use
  • Plant Risk Assessment to be conducted via manufacturer/supplier of plant or specialist risk assessment company
  • Issue Date = As per assessment
  • Expiry Date = None
