Electrical.Certificate III.Electrotechnology Electrician
  • Applicants name to be shown on documentation
  • Applicants name must match (However shortened versions such as 'Chris' for Christopher can be accepted)
  • Recognised Training Institution name to be displayed on document
  • Actual copy of certificate / degree is required. Letters are not accepted in lieu of this.
  • Completion date or issue date must be displayed
  • Course title and associated level to be listed on certificate to match the nominated coding and title within Onsite
  • Document / Certificate / Number
  • No expiry

For overseas / international engineering qualifications to be accepted they need to either be recognised under the:

  • Record the Issue date within Onsite:

Completion date - if listed on certificate (this completion date is always used when displayed)

Issue date - If only an issue date is listed please enter this as the issue date

 
Electrical.Licence.Electrical Licence
  • Applicants name must be displayed on the Licence
  • 'Supervisors Certificate' Licence is accepted
  • Licence must show competency as electrician
  • Licence must be in date / valid
  • Black and white OR colour copy of this document is accepted
  • Only front side of electrical licence is required
  • Must be clear and legible
  • Licence must be issued by relevant Australian State Government Authority
    For Queensland: QLD Government is Issuer
    For NSW: NSW Department of Fair Trading is issuer
    For Victoria: EnergySafe VIC is issuer
    For WA: Electrical Licencing Board or Energysafe WA
    For NT: NT Government
    For Tas:TAS department of Justice
    For SA: South Australia Government

    Please note: A provisional licence is not acceptable as evidence for a full electrical licence.
  • If there is an issue date shown on the licence, record this as the issue date in Onsite 
  • Record the licence expiration date as the competency expiration date in Onsite
