  • The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) requires technicians to have a current cabling registration when they install any type of equipment that will be connected to the telecommunications network
  • Evidence of having a current ACRS cabling registration card, confirms you have the competencies to complete the work to the required industry standards, using only approved, fit for purpose product.
  • There are several classifications you can be registered for.
  • The evidence must clearly state you are registered.
  • Issue Date = Date of Completion
  • Expiry Date = Identified on the Document
  • Where uploading a card both front and back of card is to be shown.

  • Duration as per licence
  • Black and white or colour acceptable
  • Must be RTA/ RMS licence or Equivalent and show the corresponding Logo
  • Both front and back of licence should be shown (when licnece is uploaded)
  • NOTE: A receipt for renewal of a drivers licence may be accepted for 4x weeks from the date of issue providing all of the other verification requirements have been met
  • Issue Date = Not required to be entered for Licences (Issue date not displayed on Australian Drivers Licences) however if Drivers licence renewal receipt is uploaded, the date of renewal should be recorded as the issue date
  • Expiry Date = Record this as it is listed on the licence OR if Licence renewal receipt is provided, record this is 4x weeks from Issue date
