If any certificate issued after the 1 May 2017 does not contain this wording it must be rejected as it means it was delivered interstate by CERT and does not meet our requirements.

Where this role is achieved for the first time a Statement of Attainment must be uploaded to this competency showing the following units

  • TLIW2037 Clip and secure points
  • TLIC2081 Pilot rail traffic within work on track authority limits
  • TLIL3065 Implement a track occupancy authority
  • TLIL3083 Implement a track work authority and manage rail traffic through worksites
  • TLIL3084 Implement a local possession authority

 

The competencies can be on separate SoAs for the unit requirements and issued by different authorised RTOs, because we have a requirement for all units of that role to be uploaded, the pre-requisite units will be captured there. The expiry will be 2 years from the date of completion.

Where this role is being recertified, a Statement of Attendance/ Certificate of Completion may be uploaded showing

Track Force Protection Coordinator 3.2 or 3.3 Re-certification/renewal (or a higher role recertification certificate).

This recertification certificate must be issued via Metro Academy and they must have previously held the TFPC 3.2 units & pre-requisite units (expired or valid)

Certificates issued on or after 19/08/2016 have been amended to include a “COPY” watermark in the background when the document is copied/scanned, there is also a circle in the bottom right corner which fades and appears white when copied/scanned.   • TLIL4069 Plan and coordinate track protection for multiple work groups

The competencies can be on separate SoAs and issued by different authorised RTOs, because we have a requirement for all units of that role to be uploaded into the unit requirements, the pre-requisite units will be captured there.

The expiry will be 2 years from the date of completion of the highest level achieved.

 Where this role is being recertified, a Statement of Attendance/ Certificate of Completion may be uploaded showing Track Force Protection Coordinator 3.3 Re-certification/ Certificate of Completionl This recertification certificate must be issued via Metro Academy and they must have previously held the TFPC 3.3 units & pre-requisite units (expired or valid) No other training organisations are accepted for recertification.

  • An MTM Certification of Signalling or Statement of Competency is to be uploaded for this competency.
  • Statement of Competency, with a proficiency level of 2 or 3 for Tester in Charge component, from the following roles is acceptable:

    Signal Senior Test Engineer
    Signal Principles Test Engineer

Note: it is okay for a statement of attendance to be accepted in theMetro Track Vehicle Operator competency requirement as the individual unit requirements are now captured by the new national Road rail / Rail bound role.

Note: As of 1 Sep 2016, training provider CERT will be removed from the approved providers list. Training completed at CERT before the 1 Sep 2016 will still be accepted. Training certificates issued by CERT after 1 Sep 2016 will require MTM approval, these will only be accepted if the contractor enrolled & commenced  training prior to 1 Sep 2016**
